Dozens of diplomats have issued a statement, noting that a year has passed since the Georgian Dream party halted the EU integration process and hindered the country’s development. The diplomats say the EU and NATO remain the only way for Georgia to consolidate its sovereignty and secure a peaceful future. They emphasize that Russia’s aggression in Ukraine in 2022 gave Georgia a historic opportunity to join the EU, which led to candidate status.
