Russell Brand 'Treated Raped Fan Like Meat', Court Told
Brand denies rape and sexual assault charges as prosecutors say six women accuse him over alleged abuse spanning a decade.
On Wednesday, Southwark Crown Court in London heard testimony from a woman who alleges comedian Russell Brand raped her at his Hampstead Village home in 2009.
The complainant, who met Brand at the Hammersmith Apollo, claims she agreed only to vaginal sex before Brand forced her into non-consensual anal sex.
Jurors heard the woman later confronted Brand, telling him he treated her "like a piece of meat" after he messaged saying he wanted to "push her further."
Brand's defense team argues that past sexual encounters were fully consensual and have been "reimagined" by his accusers, as the 51-year-old denies all charges.
The trial involves six female complainants and is expected to last six weeks, covering allegations spanning a 10-year period from 1999 to 2009.
