Showing a reduction in our key environmental metrics | Randall & Payne

Summary
As part of our continuing commitment to the environment and our ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification, we track various monthly metrics. A lot has changed in the last five years, before which our waste was over double the current volumes. This huge reduction is due to hybrid working, using less paper resulting in less confidential shredding following the transition to cloud accounting software, such as Xero, and paperless files using MyWorkPapers. Having achieved the ISO 14001 certification in 2022, we have found ways to further reduce our overall waste by 6%, which includes confidential shredding, recycling, general waste and food waste, and is handled by one local provider, Printwaste. We have also reduced printer usage by 5% each year and our spend on printing stationary has reduced by 25%, and 11% respectively over the last two years with the increased use of emails.
