Royal Astronomical Society of Canada to host telescope workshop at Okanagan College in Penticton

The Penticton branch of the Okanagan Centre of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada is hosting a telescope workshop on Jan. 30 for telescope owners and astronomy enthusiasts.
The workshop will include four stations with different telescopes and demonstrations by society members.
Colleen O'Hare will present a special Nova presentation on using a planisphere and navigating with the Big Dipper during the event.
Participants will receive a free planisphere and can attend a future gathering to get help setting up their telescopes.
