Roundabout Should Open on Time

Work is continuing on the roundabout at Lee, Franklin and Madison streets in Whiteville, and the project should be finished in October. The N.C. Dept. of Transportation said on X that the concrete truck apron, interior curb and gutter have all been poured, along with most of the sidewalk.
