The Ertzaintza arrested three people in Lezo (Gipuzkoa) this afternoon during an operation against drug trafficking. The Ertzaintza announced in a statement that one of the detainees was trying to escape when he hit a police vehicle with his car. They explained that the Ertzaintza opened fire in order to prevent the attack. No one was injured. However, they reported that the operation is still open, and they do not rule out making more arrests.
