The Valentino Funeral In Rome: The Man With The Touch Of Elegance

After the service, the coffin was transported to the Flaminio Cemetery in Prima Porta for burial in a family chapel shared with Giancarlo Giammetti, and pallbearers carried the casket from the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri.
Valentino's career spanned more than six decades, shaping modern couture as he dressed generations of actresses, royals including Jackie Kennedy Onassis, and popularized Valentino Red among mourners.
