- Lead defence lawyer Eugene Vidineac said, "This decision confirms what we have argued consistently from the beginning, the case was built on questionable evidence," referencing the court's prior removal of inadmissible victim testimonies.
- The court ordered the state to pay all legal costs while prosecutors continue investigating the first case and a second probe initiated in 2024 against the Tates and four other suspects on organised crime charges.
- British police reopened an investigation into rape and sexual assault allegations against Tate covering 2014 and 2015, while a Romanian court previously ruled the brothers will be extradited to the United Kingdom after their Romanian trial concludes.
