Justice Minister Akın Gürlek has launched an investigation into allegations that Nizamettin Kabaiş, the father of Rojin Kabaiş who died in Van, was threatened. In a statement, Minister Gürlek said, "It is impossible to tolerate any act that threatens the safety of our citizens. These allegations will be examined thoroughly and meticulously."
Following the announcement that access to the cell phone sent to Spain for examination in the investigation into the death of Rojin Kabaiş, a student at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University (YYÜ), could not be obtained, her father, Nizamettin Kabaiş, came to Van and met with prosecutor's office officials.
