Rockland County Removes Seasonal Docks at Haverstraw Bay Park for Winter, Urges Boater Caution and Waives Launch Fees Until Spring

Rockland County Parks staff, together with the Rockland County Highway Department, removed the seasonal docks at Haverstraw Bay Park this week as part of the annual winterization process. Boaters may continue to launch vessels at their own risk; however, officials are urging anyone heading out on the water to exercise extra caution, as conditions may be more difficult without the docks in place.
