ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WBTW) -- A Robeson County man hired by a contractor to remodel a home and haul away more than 500 pounds of debris is accused of illegally dumping it on Front Street in Red Springs. Deputies charged Vernon Dial, 33, of Rowland, with illegal dumping of waste exceeding 500 pounds. He was given a $1,000 bond and taken to the Robeson County Detention Center.
