Robert W. Bethea died at home on July 2, 2026. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Prichard Bethea; son, Jed Bethea; sisters, Kay Bethea and Jan Kindred; dear cousin, Kitti Rester, and extended family. He was born Jan. 13,1946 in Baton Rouge and grew up there. After high school he enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserve. He attended LSU and graduated with a degree in animal science.
