Roads close due to typical spring flooding

NEW PHILADELPHIA – A half dozen Tuscarawas County roads that flood every spring are flooding again. Tuscarawas County Engineer Doug Bachman announced six road closures Monday morning because of high water. Those roads are Smokey Lake, Winklepleck and Golf Course roads in Sugarcreek, and Deuber, Sandville and Somerdale roads in the northern part of the county.
