Roadkill is up 20pc in NSW, but one council believes its virtual fence offers a solution
Summary by Ground News
The virtual fence is designed to warn wildlife about oncoming traffic. It makes animals pause before they step out and become startled by the blinding headlights of an oncoming car. The technology works best with vehicles travelling at up to 80 kilometres per hour. Eurobodalla Shire Council has deemed the pilot program so successful it plans to rollout the virtual fence across the shire later this year.
