Riverside Elementary students plant tree for Arbor Day

JEFFERSONVILLE — To celebrate Arbor Day, Jeffersonville’s First Presbyterian Church planted a tree at Riverside Elementary on Monday.

On Arbor Day in Brookfield, Javier Rayes told a Landmark reporter that he had moved to the village because of its trees. He made that statement as he stood under a canopy on a rainy Friday with his dog, Olive.
