One month after the municipal elections, Rijswijk is on the verge of implementing a clear political shift. Despite PRO (formerly GL-PvdA) emerging as the largest party, work is underway on a new coalition without that party. Instead, a right-leaning city administration is on the horizon. “No far-left proposal needs to succeed in this municipality anymore,” Marc Weterings of Rijswijks Belang tells NieuwRechts.
