Richmond Heights man arrested for firing a gun while trying to find out who broke into his car

RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Ohio -- Officers responded at 6:22 a.m. Oct. 31 to multiple reports of shots fired outside the Dorchester apartments. They immediately took a suspect into custody at gunpoint and identified him as a man who had just been out with officers to report that somebody had broken into his vehicle. He claimed that he had not fired a gun, but one was found near him and witnesses identified him as the shooter.
