Richard Stevenson Appointed Fire Marshal for the City of Shawnee
The City of Shawnee is proud to announce the appointment of Richard Stevenson as Fire Marshal, effective immediately as of September 8, 2025. As stated in Section 13-40(b) of the City of Shawnee Code of Ordinances, the chief in charge of the bureau of fire prevention shall be appointed by the city manager on the basis of examination to determine his qualifications.
