Rhode Island leaders offered details about the "Rhode Island Summer of Soccer" initiative, which seeks to take advantage of the FIFA World Cup matches to be held in Foxboro this summer, according to reports from WJAR. On Tuesday, authorities announced that a festival will be held for fans in Providence, after receiving FIFA approval. The festival will take place in Station Park, in the center of Providence.
