A 13-year-old was charged with the murder of a 16-year-old, stabbed on Sunday evening in the outskirts of Lyon, and then placed in pre-trial detention, said the Public Prosecutor's Office on Thursday.

His lawyer then pleaded before the judge for freedoms and detention, without succeeding in avoiding pre-trial detention.
