Rhonda Hatch Leads Eddy County Assessor’s Race With 65% of Vote

Rhonda Hatch led the Eddy County assessor’s race with 65% of unofficial votes, defeating Democratic challenger Gemma Ferguson, who received 31%. Hatch, a 21-year assessor’s office veteran, previously won the position unopposed in 2022. Uncontested winners included County Clerk Cara Cooke, commissioners Bo Bowen and Henry Castaneda, and several district judges.
