Rhoden vows to pair inmate rehabilitation group with new prison
Gov. Larry Rhoden said Wednesday that he will create a Correctional Rehabilitation Task Force to guide the expansion of inmate programming as the state moves forward with plans for a new men’s prison.The task force, to be established by executive order, will follow passage of draft legislation authorizing the prison project. Lawmakers are set to vote on the plan during a Sept. 23 special session.
