The Football Video Support is a light version of the VAR, which each coach can ask for at least twice per game.
The novelty, which allows coaches to claim a "video challenge", has already been used on the first day of Ligue 3, the third division of French football.
On Friday, at the start of the League 3 Championship, teams were able to use the VAR, in certain situations only and at the request of their coach. An experiment that sparks debate and requires adjustments.
The VAR was implemented globally in 2018 as a tool that was going to solve the polemics that had always caused the arbitration.
