The second stage of James Gunn's all-new DCU after Superman's success, Supergirl landed in theaters on June 24, 2026. Adapted from Tom King's acclaimed run, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, Craig Gillespie's film had the heavy task of making Kara Zor-El a unique and deep heroine. If Milly Alcock's performance is an incandescent revelation, the feature film unfortunately gets bogged down in the worst of the modern blockbuster.
