After submission, the Seimas did not approve the amendments to the Education Law prepared by parliamentarians representing the Lithuanian Polish Electoral Action-Christian Families Union (LLRA-KŠS), which propose to allow areas with a large population of ethnic minorities to maintain a school or at least one class where the secondary education program is implemented in the language of ethnic minorities.
