Results Of Recent Drug Take Back Are In
During this year’s National Prescription Drug Take Back held Saturday here in Blair County, a total of nearly 148 pounds of prescription drugs were disposed of. Altoona Police collected 64.5 pounds and the Blair County Sheriffs Office collected 83 pounds. According to the sheriff’s office, all prescription drugs were disposed of safely, making our community safer.
