Unlike traditional cancer treatments, which primarily aim to kill tumor cells, a new approach aims to fight the disease by reprogramming cells. This means that cancer cells are not necessarily killed, but instead transformed back into “normally functioning” cells, which could reduce the risk of side effects and drug resistance.
