- After Jibrin's Channels Television interview, a reconciliation committee was formed but his later media statements endorsing President Bola Tinubu and declaring loyalty outside NNPP led to his expulsion.
- Dungurawa described Jibrin as a `weak politician` whose success relied on the Kwankwasiyya movement and vowed to pursue legal action over unpaid mandatory party dues.
