Reporters Without Borders: minimal improvement for press freedom in Hungary

Due to the worsening situation in many places around the world, Hungary's position on the list has gotten better for the second year in a row.

If France has risen two places in RSF's annual ranking, this is not due to an endogenous evolution, but to a worsening in other countries.

Organization identified in Lima the predominance of “an editorial line that has supported the authoritarian coalition that has been governing since December 2022.”

On this year's Reporters Without Borders World Press Freedom Index Serbia is ranked 91st, falling from last year's 79th place.
