Jaguars Left Tackle Anton Harrison Is Out for the Season with a Torn Knee Ligament
Jacksonville may turn to Walker Little or the trade market after Harrison allowed three sacks and 12 pressures in five games.
On Friday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that Jacksonville Jaguars left tackle Anton Harrison is out for the season after Thursday's surgery revealed a torn ACL.
Harrison sustained the knee injury in Week 5 against the Philadelphia Eagles and was placed on injured reserve; surgeons discovered more severe damage than initially anticipated during the procedure.
Veteran swing tackle Walker Little is expected to replace Harrison with 40 career starts, and coach Liam Coen said last week, "I have a lot of confidence" in Little.
Jacksonville remains on their bye week and will return next week to face the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8, giving Little time to prepare.
Should Little struggle, the Jaguars could explore external options before the Nov. 10 trade deadline, though the team maintains they possess starter-caliber offensive line depth.
