Akshay Bhatia turned down a "lucrative" offer to join LIV Golf, GolfChannel.com reported Tuesday.Bhatia, who turns 24 on Jan. 31, has won two times on the PGA Tour -- the 2023 Barracuda Championship and the 2024 Valero Texas Open.He also advanced to the Tour Championship in each of the last two seasons and finished 2025 as No. 46 in the Official World Golf RankingLIV Golf is scheduled to begin its season in Saudi Arabia next month.
The LIV Golf continues to strengthen with the arrival of new players. Thomas Detry and Elvis Smylie are expected to join the Saudi circuit, while Akshay Bhatia refused the offer.
