  • To assist displaced employees, Allen launched Kitty Hawk, an AI-enabled platform matching aviation workers with new jobs. He stated, "The reason I'm empathetic to all this is because I've been in the same situation four or five times."
  • More than 20 Spirit jets are now parked in the Arizona desert, where dry heat prevents corrosion during storage. Allen noted the planes could eventually be leased again, sold, or scrapped.
