Saugus bridge reopens ahead of schedule, authorities say - The Boston Globe

The Belden G. Bly Bridge, which carries Route 107 over the Saugus River and connects to Lynn, has reopened after being closed due to cracking on bridge deck panel assemblies. The reopening was announced by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) and was completed ahead of schedule. Mayor Jared C. Nicholson expressed his appreciation for the extensive work of the Lynn Police Department to mitigate the situation and the frustration
