More than half of the owners will raise the rent above the government index at the end of their contracts
More than half of the owners plan to raise the prices of their rental properties above the Reference Index of Housing Leases (IRAV) once their contracts are finalized. Specifically, 30% of the landlords in Spain as a whole want to set a higher price than that established by the index, while 21% say they will look directly for tenants who can assume a higher payment, according to data extracted from a Fotocasa Research survey.
