Renault talks with carmakers after Brazil deal with Geely
- On November 3rd, 2025, Renault Group and Zhejiang Geely Holding Group executed definitive agreements in Hangzhou, China and Boulogne-Billancourt, France for Geely to acquire 26.4% of Renault do Brasil.
 - Fabrice Cambolive said the plant is operating at about 50%, aiming to boost utilisation and expand zero and low‑emission models in Brazil.
 - Geely will gain access to Renault's Sao Jose dos Pinhais plant to assemble Geely-branded cars and use Renault do Brasil sales network, while Renault adopts Geely's GEA new energy architecture to expand low-emission models.
 - Producing Geely Auto models alongside Renault cars at the Ayrton Senna plant in S�o Jos� dos Pinhais, Paran� will increase production and sharpen competitiveness while Renault do Brasil distributes Geely Auto's portfolio, creating new growth opportunities and enabling new zero and low‑emission vehicle launches.
