Relics Stolen From Kirkop Church As Police Launch Investigation

A police investigation is underway after a number of relics were stolen from the Parish Church of St Leonard the Abbot in Kirkop. The Archdiocese of Malta confirmed that a report was filed at the Żurrieq Police Station after the relics were discovered missing from a reliquary located behind the church’s main altar.
