Relationship Reduces Penalty to the False Seer of Santo Tirso Who Mocked Woman in 175 Thousand Euros
The defendant, who has a criminal record for simple mock crimes, practiced the most recent crimes during the period of suspension of the execution of a previous suspended prison sentence.
A woman posing as a psychic will serve four years and six months in prison for defrauding a victim of more than €175,000. The decision was upheld by the Court of Justice of Paraná (TRP), which maintained the conviction for aggravated fraud but reduced the sentence by six months.
The judgment, dated 25 June and consulted today by the Agency Lusaka, granted partial provision to the appeal filed by the defendant. In February, the defendant was convicted in the Court of Porto for the practice of a qualified mockery crime, in the penalty of five years of effective imprisonment.
