Reform of the Federal Labour Law prohibits replacing wages with tips Cancun, May 8 (InZoom.Mx).– To eradicate abusive labor practices that affect thousands of workers in sectors such as hotel, restaurant, bars, gas stations and entertainment, the Congress of the Union approved reforms to the Federal Labour Law that prohibit replacing the base salary with tips or gratuities, said federal deputy Marybel Villegas Canché.
