GALLATIN — A Red Hook motorcyclist died Sunday in a two-vehicle accident near Jackson Corners and Hoefer roads in the town, police said.

A 30-year-old Upstate New York man died Sunday evening after his motorcycle slid into oncoming traffic and struck another vehicle head-on.Nicholas H. Hedges of Red Hook was operating a 2014 Ducati motorcycle in the Town of Gallatin when he lost control around 8:30 p.m, according to New York State Police.
