Re-enactors bring Civil War history to Burton Century Village Museum

The smell of campfires and gunpowder were in the air at Burton Century Village Museum and Historical Education Center’s Civil War re-enactment. The encampment took place on May 24 at 14653 E. Park St. and was set again for May 25. A special exhibit with 160 images of Abraham Lincoln, Civil War trivia, children’s-related activities, music and programming throughout the event were featured, as well as more than 100 re-enactors in attendance.
