RCMP find powdered cocaine, crack and meth in big Vancouver Island drug seizure

On April 23, law enforcement officers in Campbell River detained three individuals following the execution of two simultaneous search warrants in the city.
The arrests and searches followed a drug trafficking investigation targeting residences on the South Island Highway and Birch Street.
Authorities confiscated more than 1.1 kilograms of crack cocaine, alongside substantial amounts of powder cocaine and methamphetamine, as well as 13 grams of fentanyl and 132 hydromorphone tablets. They also seized over 90 cartons of illegal tobacco, several vehicles, and upwards of $96,000 in cash.
RCMP stated that initial field tests and further Health Canada laboratory analysis will confirm the exact composition of the seized drugs.
The three arrested individuals, including a 38-year-old man and two women aged 44 and 68, were released and are scheduled to appear in court in July.
