Raven-Symoné Reveals She Wears a Diaper During Her Period
Raven-Symoné said disposable diapers handle her strong flow better than period underwear and give her more menstrual product choices.
- Former Disney Channel star Raven-Symoné revealed on her Tea Time podcast that she wears disposable diapers at home while menstruating, skipping traditional tampons and pads because her "strong" flow makes them ineffective.
- As her cycle has "mellowed out" over the years, Raven grew tired of "sticking things inside" to manage her flow, prompting her transition to disposable undergarments for home comfort.
- Her wife, Miranda Pearman-Maday, remains supportive but jokingly described the sounds as "wet diaper booty" noises, while suggesting Raven might be tapping into "some inner-child work" by choosing this method.
- Raven often wears a baby T-shirt and binky while running around the house, sometimes sagging her pants to display the diaper, though she acknowledges the choice may not be environmentally ideal.
- Beyond her personal preference, Raven encourages others to "think outside the box" regarding menstruation and containment, maintaining that discussing bodily functions openly matters even if the topic makes people uncomfortable.
