For the past few years, I have been visiting the temple several times a year in place of my mother-in-law. During a sermon at the temple the other day, the phrase "Wawareta taru shiru" (I am content only) was mentioned. There is a stone basin at Ryoanji Temple in Kyoto with these characters carved on it, and the phrase seems to have spread from there. The meaning is, "I am content only."
