Raptors' F Brandon Ingram shut down for remainder of season after injection in injured left ankle
- Brandon Ingram, a Raptors forward, is done for the season following an ankle injection, said Coach Rajakovic.
- Ingram's left ankle sprain, sustained in December, prompted a visit with a specialist in New York last weekend.
- The specialist advised a platelet-rich plasma injection, a regenerative treatment to stimulate and hasten healing of the ankle.
- Rajakovic quoted the specialist as saying the diagnosis and program were the right steps for Ingram's recovery.
- Rajakovic hopes Ingram will be ready for the summer program; Ingram has not played since the February 6 trade.
