The Rajasthan High Court was hearing a temporary suspension of sentence application filed by a murder convict, seeking permission to marry a fellow woman convict inside an open jail in Jodhpur.
Following an order from the Rajasthan High Court, two prisoners serving sentences for murder in Jodhpur's Mandore Open Jail are set to marry. Mula Ram is serving a sentence for the murder of his neighbor, and Seema is serving a sentence for the murder of her husband. The High Court has now granted them permission to marry.
