Rainham: Firefighters tackle warehouse blaze on New Road

Firefighters are using a water tower and drones as they tackle the flames in Rainham.

Parts of Rainham are currently engulfed by clouds of black smoke following a huge fire at a warehouse on New Road.Twenty fire engines and around 125 firefighters are currently tackling the blaze.

Firefighters are ventilating the place. So far there is no record of damages and victims.

A fire was reported this morning on the second floor of the multi-floor parking lot of the Sheraton Hotel, adjacent to the Convention Center in San Juan. It was reported that the fire forced the eviction of the guests in the hotel, although the accident did not spread to the lodging.
