The railway station in Geldern is closed on Tuesday morning because of extinguishing work on an outbuilding of the vocational college. Because gas bottles need to be cooled and the danger of explosion cannot be ruled out, the area around the station was evacuated – with consequences for pupils and kindergarten children.
