Glassman Works Into Sixth, Oakland Drops Series Opener

ROCHESTER, Mich. — Oakland (10-31, 5-14 HL) fell to Wright State (20-22, 13-3 HL), 8-4 on Friday at the Oakland Baseball Field. Despite a late push with three runs in the sixth inning and another in the seventh, Oakland was unable to overcome a five-run outburst by Wright State in the sixth inning. The home team managed 12 hits and drew five walks, but it left 14 runners on base.
