Flemish Minister of Agriculture Jo Brouns has added four new regional products to the Flemish list of recognized regional products. These are the Dilbeek rabbit biscuit, Merodegoud (Flemish regional honey from Tessenderlo), white speculaas and speculaas with almond from Lokeren and Boerke Waas (cooked bacon from Waasland). Brouns announced the news on Wednesday afternoon during a visit to a bakery in Dilbeek, near Brussels.
