- Investigations will assess care availability across Quebec and accommodation resources for autistic youth or those with intellectual disabilities under 25, while a third evaluates communication gaps between agencies.
- Brunet Kitchen will receive testimonies from children and adults regarding rights violations, though her office remains distinct from the Director of Youth Protection, known as the DPJ.
- Specialized professionals will support children in procedures, including services for Anglo youth and translators. "Starting today, no child should have to face alone a situation they find unfair," Brunet Kitchen said.
